“蛇年” 英文怎么說？
在學(xué)習(xí)蛇年的表達(dá)之前，
我們先來復(fù)習(xí)下十二生肖的英文。

生肖年的正確說法：Year of the + 動物名：
所以 “蛇年” 用英語應(yīng)該說 Year of the Snake
例如：

PS：生肖在英語當(dāng)中對應(yīng)的單詞是 “Chinese zodiac sign” [?z??diæk] ，還有一種說法是 “Chinese animal sign” 。

蛇年的由來
關(guān)于即將到來的蛇年，它的由來有多種說法，其中有這樣一個傳說：
很久很久以前，蛇和青蛙是朋友。那時，蛇有四條腿，青蛙沒有，只能靠肚子蠕動爬行。蛇很懶，總讓青蛙給它抓蟲吃。青蛙心地善良又勤勞，不僅幫蛇找食物，還幫農(nóng)民捉害蟲、保護(hù)莊稼，深受人們喜愛。
Once upon a time, the snake and the frog were friends. At that time, the snake had four legs, but the frog had none and could only wriggle on its belly. The snake was lazy and always asked the frog to catch insects for it. The frog was kind - hearted and hard - working. It not only helped the snake find food, but also helped farmers catch pests and protect crops, so it was well-liked by people.
蛇嫉妒人們更喜歡青蛙，就開始隨意攻擊人和牲畜。森林之神向玉皇大帝報告了蛇的惡行。玉皇大帝傳喚蛇，蛇卻不知悔改還很傲慢。玉皇大帝大怒，砍掉了蛇的四條腿，還把腿給了青蛙，獎勵青蛙的勤勞善良。
The snake was jealous that people liked the frog more, so it began to attack people and livestock at will. The forest god reported the snake's misdeeds to the Jade Emperor. When the Jade Emperor summoned the snake, it was unrepentant and arrogant. The Jade Emperor was furious and cut off the snake's four legs and gave them to the frog to reward the frog's diligence and kindness.
失去腿后，蛇很后悔，決心改變。它不僅幫助人們捉害蟲，還拜龍為師學(xué)習(xí)治水。在一次洪水中，蛇用身體擋住湍急的水流，拼盡全力救了許多人。后來人們發(fā)現(xiàn)蛇的身體有藥用價值，能治很多病。玉皇大帝被蛇的轉(zhuǎn)變感動，讓蛇成為十二生肖之一，排在龍之后。
